We are excited about the fall 2010 recruiting season. We
are off to a great start and have lots of activities
planned. In September, CAU was well represented at the
National Black MBA conference in New Orleans, LA. While the
majority of conference attendees hold MBAs or are in the
process of earning an MBA, CAU had the opportunity to meet
and share program information with several prospective
students from the Texas and Louisiana areas.
We hosted an Open House/Information session October 15th
utilizing the CAU website, Face book, Twitter, and the AUC
email network as primary communication vehicles in addition
to aggressively contacting prospective students provided by
GMAT submissions. On December 2nd we hosted a GMAT seminar
where we brought in the CAU GMAC representative to offer
valuable test taking strategies.
With the launch of the new school of business website we
have achieved a paperless application process (with the
exception of official transcripts) which we expect will
increase our number of applications. Increased applications
should translate to a larger pool of high quality
candidates.
We are seeking Alumni participation with our recruiting
efforts. CAU alumni are our school’s greatest asset. No
one can better sell the school to prospective students than
those of us who have walked the halls. Please help us
spread the word about our “hidden gem”. Refer someone
