Campaign for school of Business Administration

For more than five decades, the School has provided a quality program of business management education by remaining at the cutting edge of managerial theory and practice. The School is committed to developing future leaders that will deliver diverse, innovative solutions. Entering into a new millennium, the School of Business Administration must make the necessary investments to ensure its competitive edge. The Campaign will ensure the School's ability to attract the best students, renew faculty focus, build a state-of-the-art facility, expand the information technology resources and continue to innovate the curriculum, further globalize the programs, and expand operational resources.

Such regeneration will require a great deal of new capital to meet the short- and long-term goals of the school. In the short term, we look to increase alumni contributions every year to fund operational costs, student development and alumni career services initiatives. We must increase the operational funds to support Admission's recruitment, career placement, information technology (hardware and software), and technical support personnel.

Specifically, an endowment will enable Clark Atlanta to sustain an educational environment second to none. We seek endowment funding to construct a state-of-the-art facility that will house the graduate and undergraduate programs with interactive classrooms and a conference center -- a facility that will house the six centers within the School to broaden our reach to the community and business sectors. We seek to build an endowment fund to attract the "best of breed" students to our programs that offer competitive financial packages worthy of the students who have graced the halls of our beloved institution. We seek new endowment to increase faculty that will produce innovative research and teaching techniques.

Join us on a Journey to Excellence. It's an investment in a new era. It's enriching the life of community and campus. It's the revitalization of our mission. It's the belief in infinite possibilities. Over the next five years, the School will make significant investments in its future. Attracting top candidates to its programs, partnering with captains in industry and attracting world-class instructors are the cornerstones of this journey, A Journey to Excellence.
