The School's curriculum is designed to develop and enhance general
management skills and to prepare students to lead and manage major
corporations or their own businesses. In response to industries'
expressed desire that our students become especially attuned to the
demands and expectations of aspiring managers in today's business

Bachelors of Arts
The program confers the Bachelor of Arts degree in two areas:
Business Administration and Accounting. Business Administration
majors study a broad cross section of fundamentals that prepares
them for specialized studies in their junior and senior years in one
or more of the following areas of concentration: accounting,
finance, international business, management, marketing and supply
chain management. In addition to the University's general education
requirements, students take specific courses for each degree.
Accounting majors obtain a practical and theoretical knowledge of
accounting fundamentals through structured studies in accounting,
auditing, accounting information systems and taxation. The wide
range of course offerings prepares students for career opportunities
in public and private organizations. |

Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Accounting - Dual Degree
The Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Accounting is aimed at
students who want to meet the 150 semester hour requirement in five
years and simultaneously earn the bachelor's degree and the master's
degree. The program incorporates the Bachelor of Arts in Accounting
and the Master of Arts in Accounting by taking no free electives
until the fourth year and taking two graduate course electives to
satisfy the free electives requirements of the bachelor's degree.
The 150 semester hours are required by 40 of 54 jurisdictions
awarding CPA certificates. |

Master Of Business Administration
The MBA degree from Clark Atlanta University opens doors for
students seeking professional careers in major corporations in the
areas of accounting, finance, decision science/information systems,
and marketing. The graduate program prepares students to fill
leadership roles through its challenging curriculum, innovative
programs and supportive environment, and then provides the
opportunity for its students to market themselves to Fortune 500
companies that recruit annually at the School of Business. The
demonstrated success of those students who have graduated from Clark
Atlanta attracts interested companies to revisit the school year
after year.
Students who choose the School of Business Administration have
diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. Every year the student
body consists of a solid mix of students from across the country and
several international countries, a balanced mix of men and women,
with varying degrees of experience. The Business School's more than
2,500 graduates enjoy rewarding management and professional careers
in public and private sector organizations in the United States and
abroad. Students may select from four concentrations: Accounting,
Decision Sciences/Information Systems, Finance, or Marketing.
